Engraved rings

We offer the full range of engraving services (how many can there possibly be you may be wondering) for wedding rings and other types of jewellery.

Often people will have the wedding date engraved inside of their ring (in case they forget) and sometimes initials or even a name too if there’s space. As well as lettering and numbers, decorative patterns can be applied to the outside of rings. There are 3 main types of engraving.

Laser engraving

Approximate cost £20 per ring, 1 week

Laser engraving is done using a laser engraving machine and is the shallowest type of engraving. It is the easiest to customize with a pretty much infinite number of fonts, characters and patterns.

As the inside of rings generally dont come into contact with hard surfaces, even though this is the shallowest type of engraving, it will last for a long time and not wear away.

Stencil engraving

Approximate cost £25 per ring, same day

Stencil engraving is a halfway house between hand engraving and machine engraving and we are able to do this kind of engraving on-site and often on the same day.

Stencil engraving uses an interchangeable engraving plate that allows us to use different styles of letting and in different sizes.

If you’re taking part in one of our ‘make your own wedding ring workshops’ then we can do this type of engraving on the day.

Hand engraving

Approximate cost £70 per ring, 2-3 weeks

Hand engraving is the deepest and most customizable type of engraving.

The exact cost of having a ring hand engraved will depend on the script that you would like and how many characters there are.
